I’m Georgia but my friends and fam call me G. Im a creative go-getter, full of energy and fun! I’m from Christchurch and you can usually find me running around after my son Charlie. When I’m not in full ‘mum mode’ I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, trying out the latest and greatest foodie spots, sippin’ on a good glass of Prosecco, exercising, reading and listening to music.
I have a degree in performing arts and primary school teaching so I tend to be a bit of a pro when it comes to story-telling and communicating. Combine this with someone who is a self confessed romantic and voilá, I felt that being a marriage celebrant was the right fit for me, and in my opinion one of the most special experiences to be apart of!
I am passionate about creating a meaningful and personalised wedding ceremony that perfectly sums up you and your love story, something that will be cherished and remembered by you and your guests. Learning about you both and your unique love story is a special experience and allows me to weave emotion throughout your ceremony. My background in performing gives me the kind of relaxed presence that will guide you and your guests through this special (yet sometimes daunting) occasion, naturally and effortlessly. I am here with you every step of the way and cannot wait for the moment that I get to pronounce you officially MARRIED!

This package is designed for couples who are interested in a full service wedding ceremony with all the bells and whistles. It will reflect your relationship and who you are as individuals. Its fun! It's relaxed! It's relatable to you! The ceremony will be completely unique. There is no other love story like your love story!

A non-obligation first meeting, to find out if I’m your gal and if you’re my people! In this meeting we will discuss all things ceremony so you know exactly how it will work, you can share with me any ideas you might have and most importantly, take the time to get to know one another!

Full assistance planning your ceremony (including unlimited email and phone support).

Keepsake vow cards - I will bring these along to the ceremony as well as your marriage documents so you don't have to think about it the morning of!

Just the legals:
This wedding party includes you two lovebirds, your two witnesses and me to legally officiate the marriage. This package is designed for couples who are looking to elope! It will be a short and intimate ceremony with all the legal bits and bobs!

FAQ's
Can you do weddings outside of Canterbury?
Of course!! I love a good roadie and would be happy to discuss details of your wedding no matter where you are in New Zealand. Please do note that travel costs will be an additional fee if your wedding is outside of the Christchurch area.
How do we apply for a marriage licence?
You can apply online using the link below. All going well, the licence will be issued within three working days of your submission. The application in itself costs $150 (this is at an extra cost to you and is not included in my celebrant fee) and it is valid for three months from the date of issue. I also recommend pre-ordering a marriage certificate as well.

Do you charge a booking fee?
Yes I do! If you decide to book me as your celebrant, a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to lock everything in. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the ceremony.
What happens if we need to change the date or cancel?
I understand that things happen and life throws unexpected curve balls! If you need to change the date due to circumstances out of your control I will do my absolute best to accommodate this. If I am not available on your new date I am happy to help you find someone as equally amazing to officiate your ceremony. If you decide to cancel then I will hold onto your $150 booking fee if cancelled less than a month out from your special day.
What does the rehearsal cover?
I would highly recommend doing a rehearsal before your day. Not only can we chat about all the important bits and bobs, you will also leave feeling confident and ready for the real deal! It will typically involve a full run through of what will happen on the day and will take around 30 - 45 minutes but I would allow an hour to be safe! During the rehearsal we will go over the different stages of your ceremony. The rehearsal will include:

A practice of the ceremony with your chosen music - we can run through this a couple of times so you feel confident with timings etc.

A chat at the end to make sure you are happy and feeling stress free!
What will you wear?
I always do my best to compliment colour schemes and I am happy to work in with the vibe of your wedding! Although, you should know i’m a neutral kinda gal - just let me know if there is a particular colour you want me to wear and same goes for any colours you absolutely don’t want me to wear!
How long do you hang around?
I will arrive at least half an hour prior to the wedding starting to make sure everything is set up, do a sound check and check in with suppliers that are there on the day. Make sure your guests are happy, and the day is just happy vibes! Once the ceremony is done and dusted and you are offially MARRIED I will hang back for a little to make sure everything is as it should be, have a chit chat then scoot!
